How can you lose weight in old age?

Less estrogen is produced, the body is preparing for menopause or is already in the middle of it. This can lead to a decrease in libido, which is exacerbated by a (perceived) excess weight. Because if you don't feel comfortable in your skin, then of course it is also harder to let yourself fall into bed. Many relationships suffer from these changes.
In the middle of life you need a quarter fewer calories, but even more protein than when you were young. This can hardly be compensated for with a diet that is common in our latitudes.
