Should I use Kindle?
Can I only read Amazon eBooks with the Kindle?
Actually, you can only read e-books in the formats of Amazon with the Kindle. These are mostly files with the extensions AZW or AZW3. On all other eBook readers, however, the EPUB format is the most common. To use EPUBS and other formats on Kindle, you need a converter.
So all eBooks can be read on a Kindle
Convert eBooks with Caliber
- Open the Caliber website.
- Click on “Download”.
- Select your operating system.
- Click on “Download Caliber” and install the program.
- Open Caliber.
- At the top left, click Add Books.
- Select the eBook that you want to convert to another format.
- Choose Convert Books.
- On the right you can set the output format.
- Choose OK.
- Connect your Kindle to your PC and select "Send to Reader" or save the file to your computer.
