Brief instructions: Read out the WLAN password via the control panel

  1. Make one at the bottom right Right click on the WLAN symbol in the system tray and select "Open Network and Internet Settingsn "off.
  2. In the left column go to "WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS"and click under the point"Related settings" on "Network and sharing center".
  3. Then open to the right of "Connections" Your WiFi network.
  4. Now click on the button "Wireless properties".
  5. Switch to the tab "security"and check the box"show signs". Your WLAN password will then be displayed.

  1. Open the command prompt, by cmd Enter in the Windows search bar. Right click and select "Execute as administratorEnter your admin data, which normally corresponds to the login data for your computer.
  2. Enter the following command: netsh wlan show profile WLAN-NAME key = clear. Replace "WLAN-NAME" with the actual name of your wireless network.
  3. If you now with [Enter] you will see a lot of information about your WiFi network, including: also the Security key.
