Ford Mustang (2019): All versions of the model range

The current sixth generation Ford Mustang has been on the market since 2014. The car has also been officially on the market in Germany since summer 2015. It has therefore taken almost exactly 50 years since the first Mustang was presented in 1964 before the pony car was also available from us. It was a success: in 2018 it sold around 3,100 times in Germany, which is about as much as the Porsche Cayman and Boxster bring together.

More about the Mustang:

In 2018, the Mustang (as a fastback and a two-seat convertible) received a facelift. Above all, the 3.7-liter V6 engine with 305 was taken out of the range and replaced by a 450-hp 5.0-liter V8. In addition, there is still the (less popular) 2.3-liter turbo gasoline engine with four cylinders and 290 hp. In addition, the Mustang received a 12-inch instrument display and, as an alternative to the six-speed manual transmission, a new ten-speed automatic transmission, which can also be operated using paddle shifters as standard.

The two engines differ in terms of torque: the four-cylinder delivers 440 Newton meters at 3,000 rpm, the V8 529 Newton meters at 4,400 rpm. The difference in performance is greater. Accordingly, the four-cylinder Fastback with automatic sprints to 100 km / h in 5.5 seconds, but the corresponding V8 variant in 4.3 seconds.
